Brian holds a B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin. He is also a graduate of the Law School of UCD (BCL Hons). Brian holds a Diploma in Employment Law (Law Society of Ireland), and has completed his Professional Certificate in Data Protection (ACOI, accredited by UCD). Brian is a member of the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals). Most of his work is in litigation and dispute resolution. Brian advises on employment law, education law, child safeguarding, and data protection. Brian has represented clients before the CJEU (European Court of Justice), the High Court, and the Workplace Relations Commission. Brian has advised in relation to a number of public Commissions of Inquiry into historical matters. Brian frequently speaks at Conferences and seminars on areas including education law, child safeguarding, and data protection law. Brian’s clients include schools, colleges, and charities.
